Minecraft Modding Coding
Campers will design their own Mods using Java. This is a fun introduction to one of the most relevant programming languages.
Students will learn programming in an exciting and meaningful way. They will not only come away with an impressive project to share with their friends, but also with a basic knowledge of JAVA programming. For every item, block or creature they want to add to their Minecraft game, campers will first design the graphics, then modify real Java code to program the new features. At the end of the course, they will have their own polished Mod that they created on their own. This camp is offered in partnership with Steam Works Studio.
